Privacy Policy

This site is operated by Thanasis Chrysovergis, an independent consultant based in Athens, Greece. I collect as little personal data as possible, store it only as long as I need it, and never sell or rent it to anyone. This page explains what I collect, why, and what your rights are.

What I collect

• Contact form: your name, email, and the message you submit.
• Newsletter: your email address, if you choose to subscribe.
• Booking: if you book a call via Cal.com, they collect your name, email, timezone, and any notes you add. Their privacy policy applies to that data.
• Analytics: anonymous, aggregate traffic stats (pages visited, country, device type). No cross-site tracking.
• Server logs: standard HTTP access logs kept for up to 30 days for security.

Why I collect it

• To reply to your message or enquiry.
• To send you the occasional newsletter when I publish something new (only if you opted in).
• To understand which content is useful so I can write more of it.
• To protect the site from abuse and keep it up.

Who processes this data

• Vercel (hosting, USA/EU): vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Cal.com (booking): cal.com/privacy
• Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection on the contact form), when enabled: policies.google.com/privacy

Cookies

This site uses essential cookies for basic functionality. No advertising or profiling cookies. If reCAPTCHA is enabled on the contact form, Google sets cookies for abuse prevention; you can read more in their policy linked above.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you can ask me to access, correct, or delete any personal data I hold about you. You can also object to processing or request a copy in a portable format. Just email me@tchrysovergis.com and I will respond within 30 days.

For newsletter subscribers, every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

How long I keep data

• Contact form messages: kept in my inbox until the project ends, then archived or deleted.
• Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
• Server logs: up to 30 days.
• Booking records in Cal.com: governed by their retention policy.

Changes

If anything significant changes, I will update this page and move the "last updated" date above. For material changes, I will also notify newsletter subscribers.
